Death by chocolate cake!!


DEATH BY CHOCOLATE CAKE

My 1st full fledged cake without any classes super happy with it as I had made this for my lovely mom on her birthday😊😊😊😊 !!! 
Before beginning with the recipe I would like to tell you all that
" BAKING REQUIRES A LOT OF PATIENCE"

Death by chocolate cake is a moist chocolaty and delicious cake .


TIP :ALL THE INGREDIENTS MUST BE AT ROOM TEMPERATURE BEFORE STARTING THE PROCEDURE


 So the recipe goes as follows:

For the cake batter-

1cup maida
¼ cup cocoa powder
1tspn baking powder
½ tspn baking soda powder
200ml of milkmaid/ condensed milk
1 +1/2 tbspn butter
4 tbspn powdered sugar(optional /depends if you want to add some more sweetness )
100ml soda water

For the chocolate glaze-
Melted  dark compound chocolate
3 to 4 tbsp of unboiled milk

For the frosting :
Icing sugar ( 1 cup powdered sugar +1 tbsp corn flour)
Vanilla essence
Amul butter 25 gms (ie half of the small rectangular slab)

Method  :
1) Bowl  1(dry ingredients): sifted maida +baking powder+ baking soda powder (sieve atleast 3 times)
2) Bowl 2(liquid ingredients): First mix well butter + sugar, then add milkmaid
3) Now mix bowl  1&2 (cut & fold Method)
{ note: keep your baking tin lined at this time before adding the soda water & Preheat the oven at 220’c for 5min}
4) Add soda water & mix well
Now Add the batter into the tin & place it in the oven
5) Adjust the timing of the oven as 180’c for 20-25minutes  and bake and check whether the toothpick comes out clean if not then bake for another few minutes.



6)once the cake cools down cut the cake in two parts and sprinkle some water on the top and the bottom part
7) Now apply some chocolate glaze over the top portion of the bottom cake part and place the top part over it
8) Now apply the glaze over the top and spread it evenly and do cover the sides of the cake as well.

9) Beat the butter until it becomes fluffy and double in size  and then add icing sugar and 2 to 3 drops of vanilla essence and mix it together.Then place it in the fridge for half an hour .Afterwards with the help of a piping bag make various designs as per your wish.

10)Keep the cake inside the fridge and for  5to 10 minutes just before you  eat keep the cake outside so that the chocolate cake becomes a little soft!!!!!
